CCP CT-420 Vacuum Cleaner

My household splurge for the month of October - CCP CT-420 (here's the link on Amazon JP). It's a small, light vacuum cleaner that's apparently (according to the reviews) perfect for people living alone. It's not cordless but that's okay for me, because from my experience with cordless vacuums, they run out of battery pretty quickly, which can be annoying. The wire is really long, around 5m, so I don't have to go around switching sockets - I can cover my entire room, all the way from the front door to the balcony, using just the socket in the kitchen.

I think my favourite aspect is its design. Not only can it be in the handy form shown in the photo, it also comes with an extra lenghtening pipe and handle so it transforms from a handy vacuum cleaner into a stick type vacuum cleaner. How's that for awesomeness?!

• Ease of use: Very easy to use, there's only one switch: on/off. People who want more than just an on/off switch probably won't be satisfied with this but it's just about enough for me. 
• Design: Very sleek, simple design. Would be better if there was some way to wind up the long wire within the cleaner itself, but 1. that would cost more; 2. winding it up and hanging it on the handle is easy enough.
• Sound: Kind of really noisy. Just about the only thing I'm dissatisfied with but eh, whatever. I'll just avoid cleaning at night and do it during the day when my neighbours are out.
• Size: Not too big and bulky but not too small either. Just nice! Easy to store upright in my closet.
• Cleaning power: Sufficiently powerful to clean a one person apartment. A 2LDK might be okay too, but any bigger than that would probably be pushing it.
• Handling: A bit heavy if you're using it as a handy cleaner, but the weight isn't that noticeable in stick form.

I haven't cleaned out the dust from the cleaner and filter yet so I can't comment on it, but it seems like all I have to do is remove the filter and wash the storage compartment out. The filter is disposable but it can apparently last for a while, so it's more economical.

All in all I'm glad I bought this. :D Much easier than using Magiclean wipers, and much faster, too. 満足しています！
